It is less than a week before the Ninensei students embark on their school trip. This is a very busy time with all the preparations. Thanks to everybody who has commented. The students are very excited to meet American students.
Today, a few seniors who visited California last year wrote a little bit about their experiences last year. Hopefully, soon after the trip, the Ninensei will write about their experiences and share pictures.

High Schools We are Visiting
NEWS!!! OCT. 2007
We have found out the three schools in Long Beach and Huntington Beach, and Richmond, CA. that we will be visiting. Their names and links are below.
NEWS!!! JULY 5TH
The 2nd year students (juniors) are now posting information introducing Shimada High School. They will begin today, July 5th 2007 after school, and continue until July 12th. They will cover many topics including sports, clubs and classes here at Shimada High School.

2007 Trip to California, Richmond, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Long Beach
In November of this year, the entire junior class will be visiting California. Some of the high schools that they will visit will be Los Alamitos High School, Long Beach Polytechnic HS, and Marina High School. All of these schools have a Japanese language program. The Shimada students are very excited to meet the American students.
